Sheikh Hasina Sangram Parishad has demanded a neutral, transparent, and high-level investigation into recent national incidents and various allegations of irregularities across the country.
In a press release issued on Thursday from the organization’s central office at 23 বঙ্গবন্ধু Avenue in Dhaka, the group expressed deep concern over the current national situation and public security issues.
The statement particularly referred to several incidents that allegedly took place after August 5, as well as allegations surrounding the tenure and activities of Dr. Muhammad Yunus, saying that all claims brought before the public must be properly investigated and resolved.
The organization also highlighted concerns over the recent measles vaccine scandal, incidents of child deaths, violence against women, money laundering, and other alleged irregularities, describing the situation as “deeply alarming.” It called for impartial and transparent investigations into all allegations.
According to the statement, the people of Bangladesh will not tolerate abuse of power, injustice, oppression, or negligence in carrying out state responsibilities. The organization demanded strict legal action against anyone found guilty of unlawful activities following proper investigation.
The press release further stated that Bangladesh “cannot become a playground for the vested interests of any individual or group.” Sheikh Hasina Sangram Parishad reaffirmed its commitment to protecting democratic values, ensuring justice, and standing beside the people.
