Canadian High Commissioner to Bangladesh H.E. Ajit Singh paid a courtesy call on Bangladesh Air Force Chief Air Chief Marshal Hasan Mahmood Khan to discuss ways to strengthen bilateral cooperation in military and commercial aviation.
During the meeting, the two sides exchanged views on aviation capability development, maintenance and training, aerospace technologies, and expanding collaboration between the aviation industries of both countries. They emphasized the importance of fostering closer partnerships to support innovation and sustainable growth in the sector.

The Canadian High Commissioner also praised the Bangladesh Air Force for its significant contributions to disaster response efforts and United Nations peacekeeping missions, recognizing its professionalism and commitment on the global stage.

Both sides reaffirmed their commitment to deepening Canada-Bangladesh relations and exploring new avenues of cooperation that contribute to regional security, economic development, technological advancement, and a resilient long-term aviation partnership.
